Software Upgrade on an Apple Computer to macOS 10.13 or Newer

It has come to our attention, that after upgrading an Apple Computer to macOS 10.13 or newer, macOS may not let you share your volumes over the network using Apple Filing Protocol (AFP). Although this is a macOS side limitation, it might affect a number of our customers who relied on FP based file sharing.

Existing customers should migrate over to SMB before upgrading their macOS. For new implementations always recommend using SMB as the default file sharing protocol.
