As a component of the recently-released dRofus 2.0, the ARCHICAD – dRofus Connection Tool was also renewed significantly, providing smooth bi-directional data connection between the Building Information Model in ARCHICAD and the client’s requirements database managed in dRofus.
The updated ARCHICAD – dRofus Connection Tool now works on ARCHICAD 21, supporting not only Zones and Objects, but any type of construction elements and components. This capability makes this tool relevant not only for complex building projects such as healthcare facilities or airports, but for any project regardless of its size, type or complexity.
The updated Connection Tool can synchronize Room Data Sheet contents and ARCHICAD Property values between the BIM model and the requirement database with a single click. This method, combined with ARCHICAD’s Graphic Override function, offers an intuitive way for all project stakeholders to visualize the actual compliance status of the client’s requirements directly in the context of the BIM model. In this video, you will see how the Building Information Model in ARCHICAD can be connected to dRofus, and what benefits this tight integration brings to designers and clients throughout the various design phases
