BIM Designer's training "sneak peek" given at BPC launch event

Screen Shot 2014-06-21 at 11.25.22 AMGRAPHISOFT SA gave a brief introduction, to it's "DESIGNER'S TRAINING" short course (estimated 3hrs) at the BIM Process Centre, ArchiCAD 18 launch event at the iCS Store, Florida rd, Durban. The "meet & greet" styled event in the trendy Florida rd/Morningside "quarter" of Durban, enjoyed the support of a select group of Durban's "BIM-vip's".

ArchiCAD 18, Smart-XA, Swartland ArchiCAD object library and Apple technology were all on display, than to presentations by GRAPHISOFT SA, BIM Bakery and iCS. During the GRAPHISOFT SA presentation, a 3 minute video of a 15 minute realtime conceptualisation process was shown, which included Google Map site imagery and DWG cadastral drawing info, combined, for 3D live conceptualisation and immediate area scheduling, followed by high quality rendering and porting to BIMx on iPad for immediate remote client presentation/interaction. The training program that supports this "Designer's" workflow is estimated at 3hrs and is intended for novices NOT EXPERTS. This training program forms part of a series of such trainings, including "Project Architect", "Director's Redlining" and more. All these training programs in this series, offer novice level courses, between 2 and 3 hrs each and are free to SSA ArchiCAD clients in SADC.
