With the preliminary judging started yesterday, students in SADC have shown that they are very talented. Judges from Osmond Lange Architects and Planners and GRAPHISOFT SA, were very impressed at the quality of student work submitted, by the 4 participating institutions, Durban University of Technology, Tshwane University of Technology, TAG443 College, University of the Free State and the open SADC category. Judging will be concluded today, with each institution being awarded a winner, who among other prizes, will receive R5,000 cash and an internship at an ArchiCAD Commercial User office. All these first level winners, will be traveling to the ArchiCAD 2014 Retreat in Irene next week (13-15 May 2014), where they will present their projects to the conference delegates for final voting, with their eyes firmly set on the R25,000 overall winner's cash prize.
