Date: Friday, June 7, 2013

GRAPHISOFT SA is proud to announce the next initiative in the ArchiCAD SADC Broad Based Market Development Program: End User Coupons The End User coupon system is designed with you, the end user, in mind. With the coupon system, the end user can choose who to buy ArchiCAD from, and separately choose who will offer the following services against a product purchase or ongoing SSA contract:

  • IT - installation and setup of dongle, software, Updates, etc.
  • Training - any of the 5 series certification training series or new features training
  • Technical Support - online, telephonic, on site, etc.

Below, find 2 scenarios to explain how you can use your coupons. Please do note, that GRAPHISOFT SA still offers the same online technical support centre services as before with the additional services of the coupon system, to improve your user experience and satisfaction. The following diagram shows the various channel partners, whom you may approach for your various levels of services delivery. In the scenarios below, more detailed descriptions are provided for each channel partner. Now, with the end user coupon system, you are able to purchase from any reseller as listed on the SA Reseller list (SA clients only) or SADC Reseller list (SADC non-SA clients only). This step already offers you far more choice and control of your buying experience. Once you have purchased your product, you will receive an electronic coupon set as follows:

  • IT coupon @ % of purchase value
  • Technical support coupon @ % of purchase value
  • Training coupon @ % of purchase value

You may now choose from the various certified services provider lists below, to redeem your coupons with whom you please within a 3 month period from date of issue, if your reseller is suitably accredited, you may ofcourse redeem your coupons with your reseller directly:

As you the end user are the holder of the coupons, you may first exercise the choice of services provider and you may second exercise the certification of your satisfaction, ie. only when you are satisfied with the service provided to you, are you required to sign and issue your coupon to your service provider to redeem their payment for that service rendered. Further, you may exercise your choice to issue all 3 your coupons to 3 individual services providers if you believe that your needs may best be served this way. Finally note that the coupons do not suggest exhaustive services, ie. you may redeem your coupons at their value (linked to your initial product purchase value), but may contract the services provider at your own cost to perform more services at that time. Scenario 2: SSA quarterly/annual payment In the past, your SSA payment was made to the reseller of your region, without choice of alternative, that reseller had to automatically provide you with all the IT, training and support services. Now, with the end user coupon system, you are able to choose quarterly/annual SSA billing from any reseller as listed on the SA Reseller list (SA clients only) or SADC Reseller list (SADC non-SA clients only). This step already offers you far more choice and control of your SSA billing and base services experience. Once you have received your quarterly/annual SSA billing, you will receive a quarterly electronic coupon set as follows:

  • IT coupon @ % of purchase value
  • Technical support coupon @ % of purchase value
  • Training coupon @ % of purchase value
