An upmarket development in Stonehenge Nelspruit. 5 different open-plan designs aimed at first time home owners between 110m2 and 140m2 . The slopiness of the site allowed the houses to have different elevations from the entrance toward the bottom facing the bird sanctuary.
The client wanted something different that would compliment the name that was given to the Security Complex - Eagle Shadow. The conventional double pitched roofs were inverted to give the impression of eagle wings. The concrete box gutter allowed for a different approach to rain and stormwater downflow and incorporated a waterfall effect in front. Winbloks were incorporated into the side walls to allow North-Eastern light to filter into the bedrooms and lounge areas respectively.
