We have had several issues with Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9 being too fogey to start codemeter services after the system upgrade. At one time we had a client uninstall ArchiCAD, updated the latest hotfix and codemeter drivers but nothing worked even though there was no firewall on. This happened only to his machine in a series of networked computers in the office.
- You might want to open System Preferences and select the CodeMeter Preference Pane there. The CodeMeter service can be stopped and started there, try to restart it. This actually fixed the above mentioned issue
- Sometimes if the above mentioned solution is not effective you may have to uninstall the CodeMeter driver. If you mount the installer dmg you will find the uninstaller applications inside of it. After it has been uninstalled restart the computer, install the latest driver, restart the computer again and then try ArchiCAD.
- The other option is to go into the application directory and double click the Codemeter App. Then check the Enabled Check box on the upcoming Control Center dialogue box, this also may fix the problem
